Holiday Rentals Reviews

Christmas 2017

We all had a wonderful time, everything about the place is superb, the beds are so comfortable that it is an effort to get up in the morning. The space whether it is for cooking or relaxing and chatting is warm and cosy, the swimming pool and table tennis kept the young ones very happy and occupied.

Before everyone left I asked them for their feedback both positive and negative as I know that it is important when running a business like this that you are aware of any problems.

Every single comment was positive, it was great for me to hear this and they were all keen for me to book it again for next year!!!!

I shall be definitely be recommending you, and I like the idea of the retreat weekends so may be in touch again soon.

Many many thanks and have a Happy New Year.

Hi Claire
Apologies, I’ve been meaning to message you before now, but it’s been very busy since returning home.
I would like to thank you for our stay at Brooklands and for the wine you kindly left us. We had an amazing time! Brooklands was perfect for our large family, the pool was an added bonus for the children. I know my sister mentioned we couldn’t figure out how to turn the underfloor heating down, but apart from feeling a little warm lol, everything was perfect!
I hope everything was left in good order and thank you so much again!

July 2016 Brooklands barn looks beautiful from the photos even better when you arrive we were met on arrival very helpful and friendly couldn't have ask for a better weekend would defiantly go again

June 2016 Fifteen months ago my husband and I viewed Brooklands Barn as a possible venue for my birthday celebration weekend away with my family, and I knew then it would be just perfect.

On Friday 17 June, seventeen of us across three generations arrived for the start of an amazing weekend. Everyone loved their luxurious bedrooms. The pool was well used and I was able to spend quality time in the sauna with my six grandchildren. Afterwards, the guys even watched the Euro football in the lovely lounge, while the girls enjoyed a cuppa in the dining area.

As a large group of friends (20) getting together to celebrate we were looking for something impressive and Brooklands certainly didn't disappoint. It is an absolutely stunning property and worked perfectly for what we needed. It is rare to find something this size with no compromises, we could all fit around the table, we all sat together in the lounge and outside enjoying the incredible views. Both inside and outside spaces are done to perfection and the new sauna next to the swimming pool is a real treat! I also have to mention Claire (the owner) who is a lovely lady and couldn't have helped and supported us more with all our questions and requests in the run up to the weekend. I will definitely be coming back!

Christmas 2015 Comment from the 11 grandchildren was "Do we have to go home?". Then "When can we come back to the big Big house?". The kids had a wonderful time and the pool came top of the list above the Chichester Theatre visit and good walks both in the countryside and the beach (west side of the Arun ). I was thrilled by the sunrise highlighting the cathredal and castle from the patio and we were even spoilt to see the space station speed across the sky.It was a wonderful chance for us adults to catch up in a relaxed enviroment with the family looking after themselves; though we even had time for all family charades and card games. Yes the children got it right . It was over much too quickly, Thanks and best wishes   Andrew

Feb 2014 Finding somewhere fabulous to hang out with 10 beloved friends you have seen all too little of for the past 20 years, along with assorted offspring aged 21 months to 13 years, is not obvious, so this converted barn outside Arundel on the south coast was a godsend. It's huge, with 10 super-comfortable and spoiling bedrooms spread across the mezzanine and around the courtyard, giving us all plenty of privacy when needed. The kids had a vast enclosed courtyard to scoot across happily and safely and a lovely pool to splash about in. And the open-plan living room, with state-of-the-art kitchen down one end, sitting room with open fire down the other, and endless dining table in between, was the perfect family party space, where we could eat, drink and make merry while the children played, fought and watched Michael McIntyre just within sight.

Easter 2013 Wonderful venue for a family holiday for my parents golden wedding anniversary over Easter hols. Really nice to have the two separate units and therefore two living rooms and kitchens so we could have quieter breakfasts and all get together in the evening. All rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great to have the pool and kids spent hours in it, especially as it was cold whilst we were there so we didn't want to be outside all day. Really enjoyed Arundel town and walk by the river in nearby Littlehampton. Great meal at the Black Rabbit pub in Arundel.

May 2012 - Family 70th Birthday What a wonderful way to spend David's 70th!  A delicious dinner cooked by Vicky, massages to relax us when we arrived, thank you for a perfect stay x

August 25, 2011 - Wimbledon Art Group Wonderful accommodation, the best equipped I have been to. The kitchen, beds, TV, etc all of great value, many thanks, Tony.
